  • About The Role

    The Data Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. You will own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of key growth product initiatives focused on unlocking remarkable experiences for our global audience. You will drive strong decision-marketing through quantitative results and AB testing, and qualitative research and customer insights.

    What you will do

    • Manage the entire product life cycle strategy with clear goals, initiatives, and road maps
    • Drive product release plans with detailed schedules, phases, milestones, and launch dates
    • Define and execute the strategy and roadmap
    • Interface with customers, partners, end-users, internal and external stakeholders, to understand their needs and incorporate feedback
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and customer success to gain market, competitive, and customer insights and translate that into outcomes that drive unique value proposition, differentiation, and market share growth
    • Leverage deep market and technical knowledge to build and create new products and enhance existing products
    • Evangelize and demo products internally and externally
    • Work with cross-functional teams to develop a strategy for product development, implementation, and rollout
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams to develop a roadmap of projects that reflects business priorities, budget/cost, and timing
    • Collaborate with marketing to adapt landing pages and messaging for specific markets
    • Prioritize features, build consensus, and coordinate product schedules with a team of engineers, and designers to ship high-quality experiences
    • Define, communicate and analyze success metrics for the consumer data platform
    • Propose multiple potential solutions for complex or new problems or processes and makes objective recommendations as to which direction should be taken.
    • Continually assess and integrate internal and external customer feedback and business metrics
    • Inform product decisions with quantitative and qualitative data on user behavior and experimentation (e.g. a/b testing, survey data, usability studies).
    • Define methods and metrics for identifying success and failure while ensuring the team is clear on their objectives.
    • Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
    • Assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
    • Assess product market data by visiting restaurants and evaluating sales call results.

    What you should have

    • 5 to 7 years of experience as a Product Manager
    • Ability to operate under deadlines while maintaining multiple projects.
    • Previous experience with SaaS products
    • Ability to write and validate SQL queries and to ensure data is validated
    • Demonstrated data-driven decision-making capabilities. Strong analytical skills using Omniture, Localytics, Google Analytics, or related products with applicable experience in using analytics to influence product decisions
    • Experience taking direction and input from multiple sources and creating a shared product vision
    • Demonstrated ability to work on a diverse scope of projects requiring detailed analysis, creative/practical problem solving, and sound judgment.
    • Understanding of the technical architecture of complex data products
